DIRECTIONS
From our Painswick office, head into the heart of the village along Victoria Street, branching left at the sharp bend. Painswick is often referred to as the Queen of the Cotswolds and Howitt Villa is one of the village's many crowned beauties. Vicarage Street is a particularly sought after location within the village, with a strong community spirit of its own, with street parties and a warm welcome, par for the course. Howitt Villa is within easy walking distance of the many local amenities, including two popular pubs, a bijou hotel and small local restaurant. There is also a well stocked village shop, chemist, coffee shop and fabric shop. One of the many attractions to the area, is the excellent schools, with grammar schools in Stroud, Gloucester and Cheltenham, as well as many popular schools in the private sector. Painswick is well known for its Beacon, home to a popular golf course and a lovely source of walks, with views to the Malvern Hills from the top of the Beacon.
