The bustling market town of Nailsworth is just down the hill with Stroud and Cirencester also conveniently close. Stroud has a mainline station (direct services to London Paddington from just over 90 minutes) and London is circa 2 hours by road. Bristol is also within easy commuting distance. There are 3 challenging golf courses in nearby Minchinhampton, great walks in the vicinity and the local hills offer a popular challenge with cyclists.
