LOCATION
Weavers Mill is positioned to the south of Painswick, on the edge of Pitchcombe. London is circa 90 minutes by train from nearby Stroud station and approximately 2 hours by road. The local countryside is characterised by a series of valleys, each with their own character and a delight to explore, via a network of public footpaths, with many a welcoming pub. Nearby Painswick has good local facilities and a challenging 18 hole golf course, one of several in the immediate area. Stroud has a Waitrose superstore and three other supermarkets, an award winning Saturday Farmer's market, an eclectic range of independent retailers and a multiplex cinema. Regency Cheltenham to the north, is famous not only for its National Hunt race course but also its shopping and annual Literature, Science and Music Festivals. There is an excellent choice of schools in nearby Cheltenham, as well as Gloucester and Wycliffe College, Stonehouse, Beaudesert Park, Minchinhampton or Stroud High and Marling grammar schools in Stroud.

GARDEN AND GROUNDS
The grounds extend on both banks of the stream, providing a most romantic setting. A broad sun terrace gives way to a level lawn from which paths meander upstream. There are lovely places to sit and enjoy the setting, discreetly placed at intervals, including a little island with a palm tree, not a common sight in the Cotswolds! On the west bank is a paddock of approximately 8 acres, with a spring fed pond.

OUTBUILDINGS
Weavers Mill has two garages and parking. An extensive area of hard standing has also been added in the corner of the paddock. There is a shed in the garden and at the far end of the grounds, a collection of additional outbuildings.

DIRECTIONS
From our Painswick Office proceed south on the A46 towards Stroud. After approximately one mile, prepare to turn hard left into Pincot Lane and Weavers Mill will be found at the foot of the valley, on the left.
