The property is most easily located by leaving Stroud on the A46 in the direction of Cheltenham. LOCATION
Pitchcombe is one of those special rural villages with a real soul and community spirit. There is the traditional summer fete at the 18thc Manor House and its Village Hall hosts regular events which bring the residents together. Very picturesque, Pitchcombe is set high up on the west side of the Painswick Valley, a jumbled collection of mainly period properties interspersed by small fields, with ancient woodland to its rear. Close to Painswick, which has good local facilities and a challenging 18 hole golf course, the village is particularly convenient for Cheltenham and Gloucester and accessing the M5 motorway (junction 11a).
