LOCATION
Eastlea has an east-west aspect and is tucked away in the rural village of Edge, high up on the Cotswold escarpment between Painswick and Gloucester. Eastlea offers lovely views towards Painswick, especially in the winter months. An official area of outstanding natural beauty this part of the Cotswolds is characterised by a series dramatic river valleys which converge on Stroud. Located to the south, Stroud is the administrative centre for the district with a major Waitrose plus other supermarkets, a mainline station with frequent train services into Paddington, circa 90 minutes and an award winning Saturday Farmer's Market. Edge is a friendly community with a pub and church and there are lovely walks in the surrounding area. For young families this is an ideal location to access a wide variety of secondary schools in both the state and private sector. Stroud, Gloucester and Cheltenham all have sought after grammar schools and in the private sector there is Wycliffe College in nearby Stonehouse and Beaudesert Park at Minchinhampton. Painswick is just across the valley, offering good local services, a popular primary school and a challenging 18 hole golf course. For commuters, the M5 motorway is easily accessible and London is circa 2 hours by car.

DIRECTIONS
From our Painswick office, head towards Stroud on the A46 and turn right just after the church, along Edge Lane.
After approximately one mile and as the lane begins to climb back up the hill, Back Edge Lane veers off to the right. Continue up the hill and Eastlea will be found on the right hand side, towards the top of the lane.
