DESCRIPTION
Old Barn House offers a light-filled and spacious family home in a superb elevated location. A reception hall with cloakroom off, opens into a magnificent kitchen/family room with huge picture window offering magnificent views over the village. With an instantly welcoming vibe, this fabulous open-plan room creates an obvious space for friends and family to congregate. The kitchen area is well equipped with stylish fitted cream Shaker style units and dark granite work tops, together with a breakfast bar. A good sized utility room leads off the kitchen, with outside access. A wood burning stove set within an impressive feature fireplace, creates a cosy corner to the rear facing side of the room and there is ample space for a large dining table overlooking the front facing panorama. Two sets of double doors lead from this main living area, providing easy access to the garden, perfect for alfresco entertaining. A large open-plan sitting and dining room is accessed via both the kitchen and the reception hall. Boarded floors and pretty stone fireplace with beam over and wood burner inset, make this another welcoming and light filled space for entertaining friends or relaxing by the fire. There is ample room for a further large dining table in this main reception room.

Four good sized double bedrooms are located on the first floor, the principal suite with lovely valley views and spacious en-suite. The second bedroom is also en-suite and there is a family bathroom. Two top floor attic rooms provide additional space and are currently utilised as a home office and games room.

The exterior of the property comprises gravel parking for several cars and a garage. The garden is to the side and rear of the property and has a patio area providing a wonderful area for alfresco dining whilst soaking up the views. The majority of the lawn is level with a further raised and gently sloping area behind the house, an ideal spot for children's play equipment. An undercroft accessed from the lane, provides a useful and expansive storage area.
