The property is full of light with large spacious rooms and versatile living accommodation. On the ground floor there is an impressive L shaped sitting/dining room with double doors to garden and log burner, good sized kitchen/breakfast room, garden room, family room which has also been used as bedroom 5, utility room and a cloakroom. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, 2 further large double bedrooms and a single bedroom and an impressive sized family bathroom. A particular feature of the property are the magical gardens with large lawned area, woodland paths, mature trees and shrub borders, outbuildings and plenty of parking.
FUN FACT - Taliesin was an early Brittonic poet of Sub-Roman Britain whose work has possibly survived in a Middle Welsh manuscript, the Book of Taliesin. Taliesin was a renowned bard who is believed to have sung at the courts of at least three kings.

LOCATION
One of the greatest joys of Taliesin is its location on the fringe of both of the sought after, charming Cotswold villages of Edge and Painswick. A quintessential English village, Edge has a wonderful sense of community. Renowned for its traditional summer fete on the village green, the event attracts crowds from far afield. The village is well known for being thoroughly welcoming and all inclusive, allowing everyone to get involved as much or as little as they wish. There is plenty to do, with a popular pub and beautiful church and lots of amenities and sporting clubs, including thriving tennis and rugby clubs, plenty of cafes, hotels and restaurants in nearby Painswick and a popular golf course on Painswick Beacon. The Cotswold Way passes through the village, ideal for walking and there are numerous bridal paths.
Access to excellent schools is a key draw for many families and the village is particularly well placed for bus routes to local schools. There is an excellent choice of both grammar and independent schools in Stroud, Gloucester and Cheltenham.
The village is well placed for commuting to Gloucester and Cheltenham and within easy reach of the M5 for Bristol and the Midlands. London is within circa 90 minutes from Stroud Station. Nearby Stroud has a major Waitrose as well as three other supermarkets, an award winning Saturday Farmers Market, multiplex Cinema and a Leisure Centre.
