DESCRIPTION
Heavenswood Cottage offers a most flexible period home in a truly magical and private setting. The property is accessed via a front porch, providing ample space for coats and boots. This opens into a dining room, a charming room that sets the tone for the rest of the house, with historical inglenook fireplace, stunning wide floorboards and window seats. From the dining room steps lead up to a fitted kitchen with terracotta tiled floor and Aga. A conservatory leading off the kitchen offers an ideal dining space overlooking the gardens. A cosy snug/library leads off the dining room, with beamed ceiling and wood burning stove. The ground floor westerly wing of the property houses a fabulous vaulted and beamed sitting room with feature high level window and views to the woodland below; a lovely light room with a central fireplace and door opening to the garden. There is also a large utility room, a bedroom (or additional reception room) and bathroom with bath and shower over, on this level. Stairs lead off the spacious hallway to the principal bedroom with en-suite; a dual aspect room with lovely views over the fields behind the house and to woodland at the side of the property. The en-suite is of a good size with shower over the bath and WC. There is a further double bedroom at this level. A further staircase leads off the hallway adjacent to the dining room, where there are an additional two bedrooms, both en-suite, plus a dressing room. Both of these rooms have a lovely aspect to the rear of the house, overlooking fields.

The exterior of the property is full of surprises, with a large double garage/workshop built into the side of the garden and a studio which runs beneath the sitting room, both making fabulous use of the available space. The tiered garden is well stocked, with mature shrubs, a water feature, greenhouse and seating area. A gravel driveway affords parking for several cars.
