LOCATION
Ale House Cottage is situated on the edge of an ancient common with just under 100 acres and being a site of special scientific interest noted for its rare plants. The village has a good pub and supermarket and is conveniently close to Stroud, the administrative centre for the district with a full range of services. These include an award winning farmers' market, a good range of independent retailers and main line railway station - London Paddington circa 90 minutes.
